For more than 35 years generations of scandinavian consumers have enjoyed the benefits of Igazym, helping them fight colds and sore throats.

Back in the early 70’s microbiologist Jens R. Pedersen started to explore the possibilities of utilizing the immune factors in colostrum for the benefit of humans. The challenge was to keep the antibodies intact and active when given orally. As recognition of this work in the immunological field at the Behring Institute, Pedersen was granted the Emil von Behring Silvercoin.

In 1979 after years of research Pedersen’s Laboratorium was founded and production of the first version of colostrum throat lozenges began. Since then the research in this field has been on-going and we have developed advanced and patented technologies which make it possible to produce truly unique colostrum products.
